I had a very successful gastric bypass surgery over 10 years ago. I took off over 130 lbs and have kept it off successfully and easily. However the last year and a half brought tremendous stressors that put on 30 lbs that I now am having great difficulty getting off. ANYone with similiar experience or ideas for people with this ABNORMAL stomach?

  1. Linda, there’s a product called the Solar Belt which you can find in the athletic/sports department at any WalMart. It costs somewhere around $8 (USD).

It just wraps around your waist & as you move you literally sweat the fat cells away. I lost over 20 & 4 inches this way after I quit smoking. It’s cheap, affective & no drugs are involved.

I don’t recommend sleeping in it, but you can wear it under your clothing wherever you go & whatever you’re doing.

  2. When you get the bypass surgery the weight comes off fast and relatively easy. Now that your body has become accustomed to less intake, it will be just as difficult for you to lose the 30 pounds as it would anyone who didn’t have the surgery. It will just take time and a lot of work. If you can try to work out more, since it doesn’t make much sense to eat less. Hope it works.

  3. I got a new job and am on my feet all day now…I lost 15 pounds in three weeks. Maybe not an option. but my son uses tv to remind himself to work out…he lifts weights on the commercials..
