  1. I know most people are unhappy being heavy. But to see you from the first video VS this one, I must ask you this question… Were you more happy BEFORE the surgery? if you stop and think would you take back the surgery and try to loose weight a different way or stay the way you were ?

  2. Wow! Your voice seems to have softened since the surgery. Your voice sounds more musical. Am I imagining things or is it that way?

  3. Now my motivation is this: I don’t want diabetes and possibly go blind or have a limb amputated from it. I don’t want lymphedema. I don’t want to have a stroke and be paralyzed on one side of my body. No thanks. Go online and read the horror stories of staying obese. It will bring you back to basics. At least it has for me and this is the longest and easiest time I’ve ever had “dieting” because I guess I’m driven by the fear of staying fat and that far outweighs the fear I have of being thin.

  4. Have you tried taking a walk? Or calling a friend? lol I kid I kid! I know I always cringe when people say that haha. But you know what? I chickened out the morning of my surgery 3 weeks ago. So, just remember that you went through the hardest part which was taking the risk of surgery. That means you must have at one point in time truly wanted to get this excess weight off of you. With or without surgery we’ve got to take a walk for 30 mins, 5x a week, and eat better. My motivation was….

  5. I understand you need to overcome your overeating period, but it also has a lot to do on what you overeat on. Overeating on fruit and veggies won’t affect your weightloss, but will satisfy your emotions. You can overeat only so much with a gastric on fruit and veggies cause they are stocky and filling, my friend had your problem and beat it with this method.

  6. im 16 years old and know nothing about this kinda thing. but i lost 3 stone in a year by exercise. and it wasnt fun. i felt there was always something missing as i didnt want to overeat, but felt the need to whenever i was upset. i know it sounds funny, but i learnt to play the guitar and since then, i’d far rather play the guitar then eat if things arent going well

    good luck :)

  11. actually.. your wrong.. i’m not addicted to junk food at all.. it doesnt matter WHAT your overeating on.. overeating is not the answer.. this is what i’m trying to deal with.. stopping the overeating.. period.

  12. Overeating is not the problem, it’s the food choice you make to over eat, because if you over eat on lettuce, veggies or fruit you still won’t gain weight. So eat all you want of healthy food. Your problem is that your addicted to junk food.

  16. its hard to let go of something you have masked behind for so many years. losing weight makes you feel more and more exposed with no where to hide. i am 3 months post op and 70 pounds lighter– i go through it too. its very scarey.

  22. Cree, leaving another comment. I just want to give you a hug….thats in a nut shell what I wish I could do…I dont honestly think that addiction of any sorts is a temporary trial. Even when you reach your physical goal, its not like the addiction wont be there. What I do think is the addiction will get easier in time. Thats is the hope in it. I smoke and havent been able to quit. Addiction is hard but I think your amazing and courageous to make the steps to be the ruler of your life! ~Raven
