This video shows a few pics of me growing up and some of me now but mostly they are pictures of when I weighed around 224 when I was 20 in 2002 after I had lost 203 lbs on Weight Watchers. Once I got down to that point, I started eating a lot again and gained all the weight back and got up to my highest documented weight of 445 lbs. Now I am on a 6 month pre-op nutrition and fitness plan to prepare for my upcoming gastric bypass surgery. As of 11-25-08 I have lost 34.7 lbs by following the WW points program on my own at home.

  7. Ooh, I just saw what happened. I was trying to respond to FizzySherbet – she was asking why she wasn’t losing weight eating as little as she was. Somehow it came through as a general response to your video. Sorry for the confusion.

  8. @alexanderblake Ooops! I didn’t express that right! I just looked it up and it’s eat 10 calories per pound. Good luck on your journey!

  9. @ConservativeMomof3 I weigh 300 pounds, so you think I should eat 30,000 calories a day to maintain?.. OK I’ll get on that.

  10. @nirvanachick84 Why should I be nice to someone who is being a jerk to me? It’s just not worth my time. I wasn’t trying to be a jerk myself… just get tired of people being so judgmental on here. You are right, though. I shouldn’t let that be an excuse to be rude. Thanks for pointing that out. Take care. :)

She’s right, you’re not worth it. And whoever said that gastric = laziness??? IDIOT. YOU IDIOT. You speak of what you know nothing about, so that makes you an IDIOT. I bet you think that gastric = eat all you want, don’t exercise, and still lose, and lose it fast. Right? WRONG, ASSHOLE!!! Gastric requires a lifestyle change, same as without surgery. It requires work, sweat, self-control, and it is by no means the easy way out.

    FUCKING RETARD!

  14. It sounds like you’re not eating enough food for your body and your exercise needs. You need to eat 100 calories times your weight to maintain that weight (1800 a day), so if you want to get to 140, eat 1400 calories a day. Lunch is so important!! If you don’t eat enough, your body holds onto weight instead of losing it! Good luck!

  15. Awe. that last person is a complete idiot! Listen I have a similiar story and I know a handful of people that have also gained all the weight back, plus some. You did it once, you can do it again. And when you do send that asshole a picture and tell him to shove it where the sun don’t shine. Good luck sweetie. Your beautiful and very inspiring.

  16. I wish i could have as much determination as you do. Im a fat 13 year old, and I try absolutely EVRYTHING but I still weigh 180lbs… I have more rolls than a bakery, and try to be as happy as I can; once i lost 40lbs and went down to 140lbs, and I was pretty thin, but it just kept piling on even though I run for 60 minutes after school.

Have you got any tips for me? I eat eggs for breakfast usually, and dont have lunch, and have a medium dinner. What am i doing wrong?!
